ABSTRACT
This study was carried out to establish if Artwork display in the library promotes spirituality, liberal arts and contribute to humanity. The study adopted the survey method. Staffs from the University of Ibadan library and some final year Art students were enrolled in the survey. Findings from the responses obtained indicates that Artwork displayed in the library promotes spirituality; it contributes to liberal art as its promotes creativity and critical thinking. The findings further reveals that despite arts contributions, it has not received the right recognition as it is perceived to contribute less to humanity while in actuality, it does more.
